I've been wearing one for the last couple of years and it saved my neck (literally) at my last race. Fell 10 feet on to my head and shoulder. Neck is fine. Shoulder is *()&ed.

Thanks. That was me. Somehow I hit that rock at the top and it knocked my right hand off the bar. Fell all the way down and landed on my right shoulder and head. At least my Leatt brace did it's job. The getting the wind knocked out of you groan must have been sweet! I was trying to say "oh #$%^".
